Vitamin Deficiency

I found out this week that I have a vitamin B12 deficiency. Guess what the cure is for that? Shots, my favorite thing! My doctor started me out on 5 daily shots and then we will go weekly and then monthly, she made it sound like it is a very permanent thing, which is no good for me. Luckily the shots don't hurt but it is going to get old quick. My awesome husband took me there today so I could get injected! It was truly a bonding experience for us. My doctor said that once I feel comfortable and am doing just monthly shots I can give them to myself at home. I think I can handle that but we will see. That is all the exciting news I have this moment!

So on Thursday morning Stephen noticed that the ice cream in our freezer was melting. He adjusted the temperature and made sure the door was shut tightly. By the time we got home from work, everything was melting and thawing out. The fridge seemed okay but not as cold as it should be. We have had problems with the fridge freezing our veggies and other food but it hasn't been too bad in the past. We decided to go shopping for a new fridge because we don't know how to fix that stuff and it seemed pretty bad. We found one and had it delivered this afternoon! Here are some pictures!

Windshield Drama and New Neighbors

So a couple of weeks ago I got my first rock chip in my windshield. I have been driving a lot more because of my longer commute to work since our new house is farther away. Most of that drive is all freeway so it is bound to happen I guess. After the first one I immediately went to Techna Glass and got it repaired. Well yesterday on my way home I got another one.

I was told this cannot be repaired and we need to just buy a new windshield. So Tuesday I will leave early from work and have the new one installed and pay $250 for it. It was a huge rock and quite a scary experience... but seriously? It sucks!

This morning we stepped outside and saw this lovely water feature out on our front porch. I really don't know how I feel about it, I mean it is a huge thing and it has like an angel in the middle and then some birds. I think the thing that bugs me the most about it is that my new neighbors didn't have the courteous to even ask or tell us they were putting it there. The front porch is a shared space and I would never put anything up that big without at least mentioning it to them. It also is in front of our door slightly, which I don't think will be an issue but it is still annoying. I really don't want to have any issues with our neighbors, especially ones that we share a wall with, but come on. We shall see how I feel about it in the future and go from there, I guess.

Great Weekend!

This weekend was perfect. Stephen and I had a little house warming party with some family and friends. It was a good turn out. We picked up pizzas from Costco, I think that will be where we order pizzas from now on! We spent Saturday morning cleaning and getting ready for people coming over and then after people started leaving we just hung out together. Sunday was a lazy day, I finished up the 3rd book in the Sookie Stackhouse series which was great! I can't wait to pick up the rest of the books! Anyway I just love those weekends where we just get to be lazy and hang out together, it just feels perfect every once in a while!


We finished up the first season of "TRUE BLOOD" that is based off of the Sookie Stackhouse series, I wasn't sure if Stephen would like it but he did! You should check it out!
