People Rant

I swear that no matter where we go there are always people that are too self absorbed to even realize that there are other people in this world. Everyone has the right to shop in peace and spend their time doing as they like, but for heavens sake don't block the aisle or drive however you please inconveniencing other people and even endangering them just because you are too into yourself and your lives that you can't notice that other people are around. We went to Taipan to get some glass vases for our center pieces and it was like dodging freaking bullets to get out of there. People are just moseying around without a care in the world so concerned about the freaking candle in front of them to realize they are blocking an entire aisle for anyone to get by or that they are going to run into you with their cart. Honestly. Then we go to Costco to get gas and they have a system set up so that there are two pumps for each lane when one pumps opens up the next car in that lane is supposed to pull into the pump even if it front one, you drive around... don't sit there waiting for both pumps to open so that you can pull all the way forward. I can't even explain all of the things we saw today it just was one thing after another but it isn't just today it is everyday. I am beginning to think that maybe it is us because there are so many people that act so inconsiderate of other people, I am not asking for a freaking red carpet everywhere I go and for people to pull over and make way for me but can't people just see there are other people in this world and be a little more aware of how rude they are by being so self absorbed?

Anyway enough of my rant.

Loved this post, and it is so true. I don't want to say i'm the most conscientious person in the world, but I try my best to be aware of the fact that there is a whole big moving world out there, and to just move along with it instead of making it crash and burn. I don't know if it's because I've worked in Customer Service for so many years or what...but I already feel like a huge inconvenience...why don't others? ha...no. in reality, i'm not sure what it is, but has to stop. Maybe you and I should run for the presidential race, and I could be your VP :)
